Trey Cates is the Ministry Director for Vision Ministry in Huntsville, AL. He serves the Lord by connecting churches and individuals to ministry opportunities at The Vision and by encouraging pastors and group leaders in their ministry and service contexts. Trey has a passion for disciple-making and preaching God’s Word. He has been married for 20 years to his wife, Robyn, and they have two children Rachel and Joshua. Trey has served as church planting pastor with the North American Mission Board and has served churches in Vermont, North Carolina, and Alabama. He enjoys shooting, hiking, camping, hammock-ing. tomahawk throwing, archery, sitting in a tree stand, rappelling, and facilitating groups on our ropes course. He is also a Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, and Star Wars fan.

Bobby Tibbles is the youth pastor of Morningside Baptist Church and additionally, is enjoying his third year of service at Vision Ministries where he ministers through many, different ways including construction work, grounds maintenance, facility maintenance and most importantly, the ministering of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Serving alongside him in both of these capacities is his wife of twenty-four years, Connie. Bobby and Connie have four adult children and two beautiful grandchildren, Alyssa, Dalton, Hunter, Christian and Kaylee and Kenzie.

Bobby enjoys all things manly like trucks, guns, tools, action movies, spending time with his family and the God of the Bible. Bobby has a passion for calling men back into intimate fellowship with the God who made them, sustains them, and died to save them. He desperately wants to see men freed from ill-gotten perceptions of God, freed from the brokenness of past failures and current weaknesses, and freed to pursue the goal of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Darin Lightfoot is a man’s man. He drives an oversized 4×4 covered in mud. He can shoot the eyeballs out of a chicken at 100 yards and spit the flame out of a candle at 30. He can play guitar with one hand while flipping a steak on the grill with the other.

Okay, none of that is true but he is a decent guitar player and has a passion to see people growing in a genuine relationship with the living God. He has been writing and singing songs of faith and relationship for more than twenty-five years. His natural, relational style is straightforward and from the heart. Darin serves as the Worship Pastor of Hobbs Island Church.

Our Equipping Sessions will uncover truths found in
Philippians 3:12-16.

Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
